Dear Friends and Supporters,

After 15 rewarding years with the UCSF Multidisciplinary Assessment Center (MDAC) in the Department of Pediatrics at San Francisco General Hospital, Dr. Rocco will retire in 2025 and use the experience and skills he has gained in the field to continue helping families and individuals with developmental differences. He plans to develop a non-profit center that addresses these families' multifaceted challenges throughout their journey.

Our vision for this center is ambitious yet deeply rooted in compassion and community. We aim to offer comprehensive services, including early identification, assessment, intervention, parent training, therapeutic preschool, various therapies, advocacy, and a social, emotional, and medical home that adapts to the evolving needs of individuals with special needs throughout their lifespans. This endeavor will be family-focused, collaborative, and community-oriented, harnessing all stakeholders' diverse talents, resources, time, and energy.

We invite you to participate in this transformative project. If you have ideas, skills, connections, or simply wish to stay informed, please leave your contact information and a message. We are committed to handling your personal information responsibly and will only reach out to you in the context of Project Joy and only when necessary.

Thank you for your support and belief in this cause.

Warm regards,

Francisco Rocco, PhD
